I’ve taken over a group - Lone Star State. There were several groups already on Texas, but not a single one of them was being managed in any way. I didn’t see any reason to start yet another one, so contacted all the groupmasters to see if anyone wanted to give theirs up and ended up with this one. (Which was the best of the bunch already.) So I’m on the hunt for Texas-related lenses (and will be trying to define just what that means. Hoping to be a good groupmaster!!

Oh, and Christene’s lens on how to transfer a group came in quite handy for this process as the lensmaster I was dealing with hadn’t really been active in Squidoo for quite some time. Thanks, Christene!!

Gag. This is less fun than I thought it would be. Why does it have two places to upload a picture for the lens? What function does that serve? Groups lend themselves to having a banner picture at the top. Why can’t I have a picture for the group listing as well. I’m starting to see why there are so many orange squids in the lists.
