Well, after all my excitement about being back in the Google index for my cycling jerseys lens, I’ve dropped out again. Boo!! I get really good traffic with this guy when it’s in the index, like 30 hits a day. And these people will buy stuff, which is also good. Not happy about this at all. Back to being patient and I think I’ve answered my question about breaking out lenses. At least if I have four or five of these guys, at least one will be in Google at any given time. I hope.

I have no idea how Google indexing works, but it’s definitely an up and down ride…
Wish I could get people to buy things from my lenses - not even the travel ones (like Bournemouth) seem to inspire people to buy anything. But then they are not the sort of lenses that are product related really.
Wish I could come up with some more product related lenses… I like what I write, but I could use the money too…

I know the feeling. Some of my lenses get good google traffic, some get at least a bit - and others don’t get any.
One advantage of having several lenses is that they will link to each other - and that means all will have related links. Which also means that you can link build for them as a group, which (aside from squidoo focused directories) should make building links to your lenses easier.
