Pinball moments! Like that. I’m definitely discovering that I have a case of ADD. My head is in constant spin motion and it’s increasingly difficult to just focus and get things done these days. Need more things that let me think less and just do more. And totally get the distraction deal. Three hours on the computer and I’m wondering just what I was doing all that time, because it wasn’t lens creating!

Yes, getting into a schedule and doing stuff without jumping from one thing to another is what I find hard too. I came on Squidtop to blog about what I am up to at the moment and I find myself catching up with everyone else! I call it my “pinball moments”!

Yes – I’m in her group on Facebook but haven’t as yet actually done a lens following her formula. Too much else going on at the moment, although I’m getting ready to start. I think she’s got a good idea going there.

Susan, have you read about Tiffany’s Squidoo 52? 52 sales-oriented lenses a year and most of them done and up and running by the Christmas shopping season. Definitely worth considering.

It’s amazing how easy we find it to look at a big long term goal. But it is then breaking it down into manageable chunks so we can get there!

I think it took me about six months before I finally sold anything and got a payday. But the ball just started rolling about then, in part because I was working to make Giant Squid, then the Squid 100 club. Only by making a lot of lenses was I able to get enough of a mix to start making some decent money. The date when I hit an average of $1 per lens just comes sooner every month now. Loving it!

Well done Susan. It is good to see sheer effort and good instincts paying off. It is also good to see that you are being rewarded for sticking with Squidoo.

I have been on Squidoo for 3 months now but realistically I do not think I will see any reasonable increase in returns for at least another 3 months and it will be a year before I can expect to be making real headway.

If everyone thought like this then we may not see so many “sucky” lenses – see Mimi’s and Katinka’s blogs.

Book_Garden just has a post talking about that recently. He has a totally odd lens that’s at the top of his rankings right now. Considering selling or getting rid of it just to get it off the top of the heap.

My boyfriend talked me into doing a Sarah Palin lens, which has done rather well. Mine is a poll. I’ll be happy when the election is over because it is my most popular lens right now… and I’m not even a Republican! I’m kind of tired of seeing it at the top every time I go to my Squidoo lensmaster page.
